The Oldham County Conservation District has a Truax no-till drill available for use by Oldham County residents in planting cool season grasses, legumes and native grasses.

The administration of the drill is handled through Oldham County High School’s Future Farmer’s of America and Mr. Boyd Johnson.

Rates are as follows:

$50 deposit - refundable if the drill is returned clean

$8 per acre with a $75 daily minimum charge

$100 for a weekend rental (Check out 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and return at 8:00 a.m. on Monday.)
